Megan graduated in 2017 from the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Resources. After college, she gained a wide variety of field experience working for the Bureau of Land Management and Idaho Department of Fish and Game. She has worked with pygmy rabbits, waterfowl, endangered plants, and done some work with elk and bighorn sheep. She started at USU as an MS student in January 2021. Megan’s research project at USU was focused on wildfire/wildlife interactions and she was co-advised by Tal Avgar. She successfully defended her thesis in April 2023.
